The KnowGIS training series provides an excellent overview of ArcGIS desktop.  It is a perfect "first class" and is a great class for sharening existing skills and ideas.

 

Education is a prudent and an essential investment. Pervasive technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), demand highly trained personnel. Awesome, It’s really informative.  I was showing a class yesterday some basic techniques I learned from you (from the editing tutorial) while helping them by going some digitizing correction issues. This was just yesterday….
I’m also looking for another copy of the training for our teachers here. (I currently have one at a school but I leave it there for students) if you have a used one leave a comment and I’ll get back to you. Highly suggest it as well.
